Oil and gas energies
This work package deals with the impact of HPC on the complete petroleum industry chain.
The objectives of WP 3 are:
- Expand the impact of HPC in seismic imaging by analyzing and comparing state-of-theart modelling and inversion software, applied to realistic scenarios relevant to Mexican oil and gas prospects.
- Contribute to the development of novel massively parallel fluid simulators for multiphase flow both at reservoir scales and at pipeline conditions.
- Reduce the dependence on laboratory experimental evaluation of new catalysts in the hydrocarbon refinement process by means of in-silico experiments.
