ENERXICO supported the CHEESE Advanced Training on HPC for Computational Seismology in relation to ExaHyPE, a software engine for solving systems of first-order hyperbolic partial differential equations. The event, which took place virtually on 21-23 October 2020, had attendees from Europe, Asia, North America, South America and Australia. The participants were introduced to high-performance computational seismology software packages ExaHyPE, Salvus, SeisSol and SPECFEM3D and were given an overview of their similarities, differences, and areas of applicability.
